Mutual Exchange

A mutual exchange is where Rochdale Council tenants agree to swap homes with each other with the consent of RBH. You can search our mutual exchange database by filling in details about your current home and where you would like to move to on the form below. Clicking 'Search' will return information about properties that match the details of where you want to live and where the current tenant is looking to move into a property that matches your home's details. If you find a property you are interested in swapping with please see our guidance on mutual exchanges, how to apply and our words of caution.
